Information for Parents

As a pediatric dental office, our routine may be different from what you are accustomed to. To familiarize you with the practice, below are our office policies.

Regular Check-ups

Regular preventive recall visits promote excellent dental health, but no two children are alike. The correct interval between visits will be determined for your child on an individual basis, to provide your child with the most effective dental care.

Appointments

We appreciate how difficult it is to make appointments around work and school schedules. So we always try to complete our work in as few visits as possible. If you can’t keep a scheduled appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. Someone else’s child won’t have to wait as long for an appointment.

Medicare/Insurance

La régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (Medicare) will pay for some services for specific age groups. This is outlined in the section on frequently asked questions (FAQ). For parents who have their own private or corporate health insurance plans, our office will gladly fill out insurance forms. Payment of fees is your responsibility.

Accounts

Payment should be made at the time of treatment. For your convenience you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Debit card or personal cheque.

Questions

If you have any questions about your child’s dental health, please call our office during regular office hours. Our staff will usually be able to answer your question immediately. If not, the dentist will be consulted and you will be called back as soon as possible.
